Thank You

Thank you, all, who sent messages of sympathy regarding Maggie's passing. I can't begin to tell you how much your kind words meant.

On our last camping trip with Maggie, we went to the Hot Air Balloon Stampede in Walla Walla, Washington. It was over Mothers' Day weekend. As we were driving there, I told my hubby that we'd most likely get an offer on the house while we were out of town. Sure 'nuff, just as we approached Yakima, we got a phone call from the realtor. So last Friday, we spent a good part of the day faxing offers back & forth, sold our house, and bought the house that we had been looking at for the last several weeks. If all goes as hoped, we should close on both places and move mid-June. Wish us luck!

The balloon stampede was great - lots of families in attendance in the early hours of the morning, to watch the balloons inflate & rise in the air. We also loved Walla Walla & will definitely be going back to enjoy the Farmers' Market and the surrounding area wineries.

Maggie Joy October 4, 1994 - May 14, 2007

Maggie passed away Monday after a long battle with cardiac problems. We are so grateful for the 12 1/2 years during which she demonstrated to us unconditional love.

Maggie was the happiest dog I've ever known. She joined our family as a puppy, small enough to fit in the palm of my hand. As she grew through the years, she was a sweet sibling to a housebunny and several cats, and even a few pet rats. She helped raise our children. They grew into compassionate & gentle people, having learned responsibility in caring for and playing with her. Maggie will always be with us.
